Comedian Louis CK is foregoing the ticketing services

People love to complain about ticket fees. You know, the 5 or 10 bucks attached to a concert or sports ticket. Well, comedian Louis CK is foregoing the ticketing services and selling directly to fans. He announced this week he’s charging $45 per ticket, with no added fees, exclusively through his own Web site. Last year, he bypassed Comedy Central and HBO and released a stand-up special on his site for only $5. Louis CK stopped by the studio and talked to Elvis Mitchell, host of KCRW’s The Treatment, about the new plan.
