that moment when you realize you’re marc maron
Meanwhile, today on the radio we had a little chat:
Marc Maron reinvigorated his comedy career through his popular podcast WTF which gets on average 2.4 million downloads a month. In the show he has funny, insightful and profane conversations with celebrities and a whole lot of comedians. Comics like Louis C.K., Robin Williams, and Sarah Silverman have been on the podcast as have pop culture figures like Ira Glass and Huey Lewis. What connects all the WTF episodes is Maron’s humor, self-deprecation and a willingness to put it all on the table. Now he’s translated his life to TV for the new scripted comedy Maron on IFC.
Maron also has a new memoir Attempting Normal which is available on Amazon.
